Our cork fabric is handcrafted in Portugal using very high-quality cork shavings. After the planks are sliced into thin cork sheets, the most beautiful are chosen one by one for this purpose. Then they are put together side by side and glued to a metallic gold backing.
Cork is a natural material and may come in various shades. Therefore, the cork sheets used to create this pattern may vary in tones, appearing lighter or darker, resulting in a non-uniform look. Some sheets may even have a slight greyish tint. After all, it's natural cork!
This cork leather comes with a beautiful gold metallic look, and the back side is soft as showed in the second photo.
